I dreamt of freezing temperature amid white sands and death. A horrifying struggle to survive and to save those I care about. One person in particular who I have never seen enough of. I dreamt that half of his hand was cut off diagonally and he was freezing and bleeding to death in the pale sand. I was mortified by this and somehow dragged him somewhere safer and warmer. Terrified, I tried to help him. Somehow I healed his hand and stopped his shivering. But I can barely recall what happened. There were doors being sealed shut and there was running. Most of all there was the fear that this person I care about more than I know, was dying and there was nothing I could do about it, nothing at all. And so I spoke to him and let him hear my voice, and held him tightly. Him and another friend, they must never give up no matter what happens. They must never despair, and they must never leave me. Because if they did, they could never know how much emptier my life would be... Lets hope I'm not selfish... This was a bad dream.
